Which Level Is Right for Us?

Answer two quick questions and we'll point you to the right class.

1. What's your child's experience with badminton?
2. What's your child's age?

New to badminton? Every player begins at Club I, grouped by age.

Beginners under 10 start in Club I Jr. Beginners 11–16 start in Club I. From there, players move up through Club II and into the Regional pathway as they progress.

Registering a child? Parents and guardians should create the primary CourtReserve account and add each child under My Family before registering.

Please select your child's profile — not the parent's profile — when enrolling in a Junior Class.

Common Questions

Not at all — our classes are structured to welcome all ages and ability levels, from complete beginners to advanced players.
Parents and guardians should create the primary CourtReserve account and add each child under My Family before registering. Please select your child's profile — not the parent's profile — when enrolling in a Junior Class.
It's optimal to start badminton training as young as 5 or 6 years old. Our Junior program welcomes players ages 6–16.
A fun, focused, and encouraging training experience led by certified coaches, with a mix of skill-building drills and game play.
Most kids pick up the basics within 6 months to a year. Players who train and practice at least 3–4 days a week often get there in under 6 months.
We recommend bringing your own racket if you have one. Loaner rackets are available at the Pro Shop based on availability, and new rackets can be purchased there as well.
Yes — regular shoes can mark up the court surface with the amount of movement involved. Non-marking indoor court shoes are required.
Each session includes one makeup class. Please notify us at info@northwestbadmintonclub.com before the missed class so we can help you reschedule.
